Stories are who we are. They are reflections of our experiences, manifestations of our aspirations, and explanations of our realities. We quite literally process and produce stories constantly through conversations and contemplations, schemes and dreams, excuses and embraces. Regardless of industry, culture, creed, and everything in between, the power of stories is often more strongly linked to the strategy of teller than the tale that is actually told. We’ll use our time together to dig into our strategies, making note of our most impactful stories, learning how, why, and when to share, and most importantly, catalyzing indelible bonds by aligning ourselves with an incredible sistHERhood of leadHERs.

Amelia’s story of hard work, determination, and dedication resonates deeply with many audiences. She takes them along on her epic flight—from Howland Island to touching down on the same runway where she departed in 1937—drawing powerful comparisons to how we lead, work as teams, handle turbulence, and boldly journey into uncharted territory with confidence.

Amelia has earned rave reviews from audiences ranging from the Fortune 500 to the United States Air Force Academy. Her upcoming book, Learn to Love the Turbulence: Flight Lessons on Becoming the Pilot in Command of Your Own Journey teaches readers how to navigate the inevitable storms that come with taking flight toward the life we were meant to live.

Jacqueline Vazquez has been in the wedding and event industry over 20 years and is recognized as an inspirational & sensational international planner, speaker, mentor and leader in her industry. She is an advocate for education and building knowledge in the industry and encourages everyone to never settle for less.

Jacqueline says, “If I am able to add value to a new or seasoned planner/professional by sharing my expertise and experiences, then I have made my dent in the industry”.

Since I was a young, I have always been the one that "cares too much" as they said. I used to believe them, until I did some personal reflection, growth, and focused on my hearts desire and realized that my caring nature is my asset to my community.

While I am still learning to navigate this journey, my goal is to always support, empower and lift (elevate) others to follow their dreams to be more, do more... and do it scared.

I have a multitude of reasons why this Women's retreat holds significant importance for me. It offers a valuable setting for introspection and exploration, where I can learn from the stories and experiences of other inspiring women. This retreat carves out dedicated time and space away from distractions, enabling us all to deeply engage with our thoughts, emotions, and aspirations. It fosters self-discovery and empowers us to gain insights for better self-understanding. Moreover, the sense of connection with a community of like-minded individuals contributes immensely to personal growth and the courage to step out of my comfort zone. Being surrounded by individuals who share similar values and goals presents an exceptional opportunity for personal development and empowerment.

Photography style is natural and candid, with an emphasis on capturing authentic moments and emotions. They use the stunning natural beauty of Cozumel as a backdrop for their photos, incorporating the clear blue waters, sandy beaches, and lush tropical foliage into their shots.
